Christian Vezjak and Jaafar Shunnar, co-founders of TAP, have launched “Palestine’s Future”
Palestine's Future: Donate your skills, one human to another.
Young Palestinians are overflowing with potential and a desire to build a better future for themselves and their community but face significant obstacles like politics, violence, discrimination, and war.
On the other hand, there are many people across the world that want to support them, but they don't know how to do this by themselves. Palestine’s Future is a community campaign for anyone looking to help build a brighter future for Palestinians by sharing their skills, knowledge, or network. The support comes purely from a professional perspective, no politics or bias is involved. This is about supporting young people in a very hard situation, from one human to another.
Palestine's Future is an initiative started by Talent Acceleration Platform (TAP), a Dutch-Palestinian company that provides upskilling programs to talent in Palestine, and connects them to a network of companies for job opportunities.
TAP is fostering a movement for change in Palestine that extends beyond individual success to encompass the building of a thriving tech ecosystem and supportive community. In the past 12 months alone TAP has screened over 12 000 Palestinian talents for international job opportunities, building a bridge between Palestine and the world. And with the network of supporting partners, many thousands more will be reached. Anyone with a need for professional support can sign up to be matched personally with professionals across the world.
But the Palestine's Future campaign goes far beyond TAP. This is a community of organizations, companies and individuals that stands up together to help young Palestinians progress professionally - and to contribute to a brighter future ahead by sharing knowledge, creating jobs, and providing hope.
